Today was Gardening day! Yippee!

My Mom called this morning to see if I was planning on eating out of the garden this year. When I told her that we had hoped so, she kindly invited (insisted) us to come out and help! No, we had offered to help before, she was just calling us to let us know that today was the day!

We actually had a lot of fun before the gardening. We went to the Windmill this morning, then to McDonald's, then to the plant store.My dad made the holes.

I broke apart all the plants.
These happen to be Brussel sprouts! mmmm...

We had a lot of fun! It is always hard to get started, but so rewarding in the end!

I cannot wait to eat all of the yummy things we planted. Today we did tomatoes, peppers, yellow squash & Brussel sprouts. We will be planting more on Wednesday!
